The Imagine More Network of The Bahamas is a visionary initiative dedicated to empowering the next generation of leaders and innovators within our islands. Founded on the principles of collaboration, creativity, and resilience, our network aims to reimagine what is possible for Bahamian youth. Through strategic programs, mentorship, and educational initiatives, we equip young minds with the tools and opportunities they need to thrive—pushing beyond the ordinary, challenging expectations, and inspiring them to imagine and achieve more than what is thought of as possible.
Our organization bridges tradition and innovation, celebrating the rich cultural heritage of The Bahamas while preparing our youth to excel in a rapidly evolving global landscape. By fostering community engagement, encouraging leadership, and addressing critical societal challenges, we aspire to create a future where every individual has the potential to contribute to and take meaningful ownership in the nation’s progress.

Our vision is to a produce a generation of young Bahamians who are not just dreamers but doers—equipped with the skills, confidence, and resources to transform challenges into opportunities both nationally and on a global scale. This vision is grounded in the belief that when individuals dare to imagine more, and are resourced in their imagining, they become catalysts for progress, unity, and hope. As such, at the heart of this vision is a commitment to building human capital and transforming lives.
Mission and Purpose
The mission and purpose of The Imagine More Network of The Bahamas is to ignite potential, foster resilience, and inspire a culture of progress and innovation among Bahamian youth. We exist to bridge the gap between dreams and opportunities, ensuring that young Bahamians are empowered to thrive in an increasingly complex and interconnected world.
We believe that every young person possesses unique talents and strengths. Our purpose is to provide the platform, tools, and support system they need to harness these abilities and contribute meaningfully to their communities, the nation, and beyond. By creating a foundation built on collaboration, mentorship, and education, we aim to build a Bahamas where no talent is wasted, and dreams are nurtured.

Although the Imagine More Network is newly launched, our vision is ambitious, and our roadmap is clear. The works we plan to undertake are designed to address critical needs in our communities, particularly among the youth, while fostering a spirit of innovation and collective responsibility.
The international black men's empowerment
September 24-26, 2025
The International Black Men's Empowerment Summit (IBMES) is a flagship event curated under the Imagine More Network, in partnership with the Morehouse College Alumni Association Bahamas Chapter (MCAABC). This transformative initiative is dedicated to fostering leadership, entrepreneurship, and excellence among Black men globally.
The IBMES provides an unparalleled opportunity for cultural exchange, professional development, and meaningful community connections. Through impactful keynote addresses, hands-on workshops, and engaging sessions, attendees will gain practical tools and insights to excel in their personal and professional lives.
Beyond its immediate benefits, IBMES supports a noble cause. As the primary scholarship fundraising initiative of the MCAABC, the summit directly contributes to helping underprivileged young Bahamian men attend Morehouse College, shaping the leaders of tomorrow.

The imagine more Changemakers initiative for High school boy
Launching September 2025
The Imagine More Changemakers Initiatives for High School Boys is another flagship initiative of the Imagine More Network of The Bahamas. This transformative program is designed to empower young men by fostering leadership, self-awareness, and personal development while equipping them with practical skills for success. It is a proactive response to the challenges faced by young Bahamian men, offering mentorship, guidance, and opportunities to cultivate their full potential.
About the Program
This groundbreaking initiative is designed to inspire, empower, and elevate high school male students in grades 11 and 12 and is rooted in the belief that young men have the capacity to imagine, create, and achieve more than society often expects of them.
Through this innovative program, participants will uncover their unique gifts, develop critical life skills, and engage in transformative experiences that challenge their limits and broaden their horizons. The journey culminates with a Passion Project—a student-driven initiative that allows each participant to apply what they’ve learned and present a tangible, innovative solution or creation at the program’s close in September.

the imagine more young adult fiction writERS' COMPETITION
Fall 2025
The Imagine More Young Adult Fiction Writers' Competition is a transformative initiative aimed at inspiring and nurturing the next generation of talented Bahamian writers. This intensive one-year program encourages creativity, critical thinking, and cultural expression through the art of fiction writing.
Through workshops, focus groups, and guided mentorship, participants will develop their storytelling skills, learning to craft compelling narratives that reflect their unique perspectives and experiences growing up in the Bahamian society. By engaging in this process, young writers not only hone their craft but also contribute to fostering a vibrant literary culture within Bahamian society.
The competition is open to promising young Bahamian writers from diverse backgrounds, including high school students and young adults aged 18 to 25. Participants are paired with accomplished mentors who guide them through the intricacies of fiction writing, from character development and thematic exploration to crafting captivating plots and engaging dialogue.
Goals of the Competition
- Discover and nurture young Bahamian storytellers.
- Encourage a love for reading and writing among youth.
- Foster a literary culture within the Bahamian community.
- Inspire new, locally produced works of young adult fiction.
